Firefighters called to the scene of a minor blaze in Queens yesterday found more firepower than actual fire when they discovered three illegal guns, authorities said.

The FDNY quickly doused the flames at a two-story house on 98th Street in East Elmhurst shortly after 10 a.m., but when the firefighters inspected the inside of the home, they found two rifles and a shotgun, all unlicensed, cops said.

The firefighters notified the NYPD, which arrested two brothers, Jason Clarke, 20, and Caprise Scott, 35, and charged them with criminal possession of the weapons.

One occupant was treated for smoke inhalation, but his injuries were not serious.

A relative of the two men, who asked not to be identified, said he was surprised to hear that the men were packing heat.

"I was shocked," said the man, adding that Scott was the house's owner.
