Angelina Jolie has a cutting-edge way of raising kids - the world-famous beauty recently took son Maddox, 7, shopping for knives.
"My mom took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12," Jolie says in the new issue of W magazine. "And I've already bought Maddox some."
Jolie, 33, and partner Brad Pitt, 44, have six kids, three adopted and three biological. There was a time, Jolie says, when she'd never consider pregnancy - until she met Pitt.

"I think one of the life-changing things that he did, one of many, is that I was absolutely never going to get pregnant," she tells the mag, which features photos of her taken by Pitt. "Now I wouldn't trade that experience for the world."
Jolie, perhaps without the benefit of a mirror, says she's amazed Pitt finds her beautiful.
"I'm with a man who's evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful," she says. "So I genuinely feel even sexier."
Even though they're surrounded by six young kids, Jolie says she and Pitt do manage to get some alone time at their home in the south of France. All the kids have to knock on the bedroom door before entering, she added.
