A Boston musician has slapped rocker Jon Bon Jovi with a $400 billion lawsuit, charging the Garden State idol ripped off his lyrics, according to published reports.
Samuel Steele alleges the star lifted lyrics from his 2004 Red Sox anthem, "(Man I Really) Love This Team" for his current hit and baseball playoff theme song "I Love This Town," according to TMZ.com.
Steele believes Bon Jovi heard his song while campaigning for John Kerry in 2004, the reports said.
