IF you want to see Aretha Franklin perform, you have to sweat for it. Celebs like Rosie Perez, Christie Brinkley, Joy Behar and Darren Star were feeling the heat at the Ross School concert in East Hampton last weekend because Franklin forbids air conditioning, to protect her voice. "Even Aretha's security was complaining about the heat in the car on the way to the concert," said a source. Perez was spotted taking off her shoes and fanning herself, but guests endured the heat stoically to give the legend some R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
