THERE'S a lot less of Richard Griffiths to love. The acclaimed British actor, who won a Tony for "History Boys" and opens here next week in "Equus" opposite Daniel Radcliffe, once topped the scales at 300 pounds. But when he dropped by Elaine's with his wife, Heather, the other night, Griffiths was a mere shadow of himself, having shed 80 pounds. "He was telling stories of his early days at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, but some of the regulars didn't recognize him," our spy said.
