PHOTOS: Haute List

IT'S August, and if you haven't gotten fit for the beach by now, better call it quits. But that doesn't mean you have to stay home with all your clothes on. Celebs and makeup pros have always known that faking muscle tone is a piece of cake - a little airbrush tan, some bronzer and a flick of the kabuki brush is all you need for sculpted and toned abs, bustier cleavage and sexy legs. It Cosmetics has boxed all the tools you need to fake the body of your dreams - six-packs, thigh muscles and bazooms can be yours as long as you're handy with products like "ab stain." Kits are $69 each at itcosmetics.com and hsn.com.

* Celebs - just like us: Sigh. Sometimes it's just so hard to be famous - wearing half a million dollars in diamonds and $25,000 red-carpet gowns can sure be exhausting. Sometimes it's nice to see that not all stars tote $2,000 handbags. Jessica Alba, Vanessa Minillo, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Aniston are all fans of Krina's ultra-affordable totes, which are priced from $80 to $215 at krinabag.com.

* Get screwed: Leatherman's luxury Argentum range of folding multi-tools is pricey - this gold 25th anniversary Charge Dorado rings in at a cool $40,000 - but you'd be hard-pressed to find a chicer eyeglass screwdriver anywhere else. Check leatherman.com for more info.

* Kid Primpin': We've always been fond of Primp's animal-print thermals and hoodies, and now our Mini-Mes can get in on the fashion action. Zahara Jolie-Pitt sports the cutest Primp lobster thermal ($49 at Bloomingdale's starting Tuesday) in this week's People mag family portraits. And Primp's panda onesies ($43 at itsprimp.com) are perfectly precious, just in time for the Beijing Olympics.

* Release your inner plushy: Jumpin Jammerz makes adult-size onesies - some with sticky feet and drop-bottoms. Yeah, we know it's summer, but that A/C can get downright chilly at night! From $40 at jumpinjammerz.com.

* Hey, Mickey, you're so fine: When everyone's favorite mouse took to the Vivienne Tam catwalk in February, there were plenty of front-row oohs and aahs. Including ours. The cute-as-a-button satin dress and T-shirts - $505-$535 - finally hit stores this week. Get them at Vivienne Tam, 40 Mercer St.;

(212) 840-6470.
