A woman has filed a $1 million lawsuit against a lower Manhattan restaurant she says served her a salmonella sandwich.
In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Barbara Reiss says she was one of 19 customers who got salmonella Hartford - a non-tomato variety - after eating at Baguettes and Co. on Park Place.
A manager at the shop, who did not give his name, said, "It's the first I'm hearing of this," and declined further comment.
