The hipster migration has recently settled in Bushwick. Those priced out of Williamsburg, Greenpoint and even Park Slope have headed here.

Warhol wannabes have converted the industrial lofts and warehouses into live/work spaces. There's also an outpost of the East Village's Life Café.

The area offers townhouses and detached homes in Queen Anne, Romanesque Revival, Italianate and Neo-Greco styles.

As for new construction the postmodern design of the L Lofts is the first of its kind in the neighborhood. The 15 condos with an open roof deck are priced around $300 to $500 a square foot.
