Heart fear puts Rush in hospital

Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh was admitted to a Honolulu hospital after suffering chest pains, his radio program announced early today.

Paramedics responded to a call of a man with chest pains at the Kahala Hotel and Resort at 7:41 p.m. New York time, local station KITV reported.

When emergency crews arrived, Limbaugh, 58, was sitting in a chair in his ninth-floor hotel room, and told paramedics he was taking medication for a back problem, KITV reported.

He was taken to Queen's Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition, the report said.

A rep for the hospital declined to comment.

On its Web site, Limbaugh's program said he was resting comfortably, and appreciated the prayers and well-wishes of fans. It also promised updates online and on Limbaugh's radio program.

Limbaugh's three-hour weekday show is heard on some 600 radio stations across the country, and more than 14 million people listen to him at least once a week.

Limbaugh's chief of staff Kit Carson said Limbaugh began a vacation Dec. 23 that was due to last through Jan. 4. He'd been spotted playing golf in recent days in Hawaii.

Two of Limbaugh's favorite targets, President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, also have been vacationing there.

The cigar aficionado has had health problems in recent years.

In 2003, he underwent treatment for an addiction to prescription painkillers. A criminal charge of prescription fraud was dropped in 2006 as part of a plea deal.

A typical liberal will almost always resort to insults and name calling when they can't debate the issues.They Support Abortion the murder of innocent new human life and deny its God given right to life which is criminal and discrimination and want to re-define Marraige which only Man(husband)and Women(wife).You Can't re-invent the wheel.Get well soon Rush Limbaugh.

Rush exposes the hypocrisy of liberals every day and it drives liberals crazy. Rush is the nicest guy you could ever meet. He is trying to help keep our great nation by being destroyed by liberals running wild and trampling on everything that has made the US great. Can't wait for November and 2012. Rush is not bigoted.
