Ambulance kills B'klyn senior

Comments: 1An elderly woman was killed as she crossed a Brooklyn street yesterday when she was struck by an ambulance carrying a 101-year-old woman.
The pedestrian, identified as in her 80s, was crossing Bay Parkway near the westbound ramp to the Belt Parkway in Bensonhurst around 6 a.m. when the ambulance struck her as it made a right turn, said police.
The woman was rushed to Lutheran Hospital, where she died.
The ambulance's centenarian patient was being taken to Lutheran for treatment of abdominal pains, the Fire Department said. She was not injured in the accident.
Police did not release the dead woman's identity.
