Sheen's wife: Drop charges

Comments: 3Charlie Sheen is officially in deep yogurt.
The "Two and a Half Men" star -- out on bail for allegedly holding a knife to wife Brooke Mueller's throat during a Christmas Day argument in Aspen -- was in court yesterday on charges of felony menacing, third-degree assault and criminal mischief.
But Mueller's lawyer says she wants the charges dropped.
Sheen, who did not enter a plea, was reunited with his wife in court, where the judge modified a restraining order and allowed them to work out their differences.
"Brooke would like this case to be over and charges dismissed so they can get on with their lives," said Yale Galanter, her lawyer.
The bad-boy actor faces a maximum of three years in prison, but in practical terms, it's unlikely he will serve any jail time, according to Colorado criminal defense attorney Richard Bloch, who has experience in similar cases but is not involved in this one.
"That does not happen to anybody on a first-offense felony menacing [charge]," Bloch said.
More likely, Sheen will be given probation, community service and a fine -- things that won't interfere with his shooting schedule.
"They're not going to do anything that's going to affect his ability to work," Bloch says. "That's not just for celebrities. It's in every case. The courts try to fashion a remedy, if it's not jail, that allows the person to work."
One thing is almost certain, however. If convicted, Sheen would be required to enroll in a 36-week domestic-violence program, although he won't have to complete the course in the state.
Sheen is due back in court March 15.

The female was the cause of all of this. She was drunk and had been nagging Sheen. A female's nagging is serious abuse because it interferes with a man's peace of mind and quality of life and causes severe psychological trauma. A man yelling or chastising a female though means nothing. Like a child she forgets in a minute and could go out to a party and enjoy herself.
And what is all this felony cr@p over these minor incidents with females? This stuff belong in the violation category with a $10 fine.
And any man who would attend one of these lesbian feminist run "domestic violence" classes is a man with no pride of class. If Sheen had any b@lls he would have forced his wife to confess that she made the whole thing up and all charges be dismissed against him. Of course she would do it otherwise he doesn't work and she doesn't get the $$$ haha She'd do it for the money even if her false report caused her to go to jail for awhile.
